Conflicting Software

Windows computers come with a series of pre-installed programs. Unfortunately, not all of them are necessary and, at times, they can be in conflict with the applications that you want to use.

Intel Rapid Storage is one such application that conflicts with the Total AV, preventing Real-Time protection from running.

On the Total AV app, click System Tune-Up, then click on the tile labelled Uninstall Applications. Clicking the tile again will commence a deep scan of all the applications installed on the computer.

Locate the listing labelled Intel Rapid Storage and check the box on the left of it, then click the red button labelled Uninstall.

Once the uninstall process has completed, restart your computer.

Then uninstall Total AV by following the guide here.

Then follow this guide for installation of Total AV.
